THERAPY

I work with clients who are new to therapy, and I also work with clients who've tried this a few times before. Many of my clients are struggling with eating disorders or mood issues, or they have a family member who is struggling.

Our focus, frequency, and the setting in which we meet will depend greatly based on what you’re wanting to get out of the therapeutic process. Some clients meet with me weekly for years, and others come for a few months to target a specific issue.

What is it like to work with me? My clients have described me as gentle and direct. In session, I aim to find a balance between expressing compassion and challenging those tricky thought patterns and behaviors that aren’t actually serving us. I believe that we come by our flaws honestly and that shame is not a helpful motivator for change.

I also work to be conscientious of intersectionality and bias. I provide affirming, inclusive services to individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, identities, and presentations.

In-Person or Virtual?

I am in the office Mondays and Tuesdays. Office visits are great for clients who are local, who feel safe meeting in person, and for those who may not have space or privacy at home.

I offer virtual sessions Monday through Thursday. For those who don’t live in Austin, or who desire the convenience and ease of scheduling, I use HIPAA-compliant telehealth software.

FEES

  • Individual sessions: $175 per 50 minute session

  • Couples and family sessions: $200 per 50 minute session, or $320 per 80 minute session

  • Group: $60 per 60 minute session

I am an in-network provider for Lyra. I can provide superbills for those who choose to use their out-of-network benefits.

I offer a need-based sliding scale for clients when finances are a barrier to treatment. Feel free to ask me if I have a sliding scale spot open!
